Next up in our wine dinner series we have a very special opportunity for you to meet the winemaker behind the wines. Enjoy a 5-course dinner paired with a selection of wines from Byron Kosuge. Born & raised in Davis, California (land of the famous agricultural-focused university), he worked at several wineries, mostly focused on Pinot Noir, before starting his own wine brand in 2004. He is on the hunt for wines which are “more compelling, more pure, more honest” and he is working toward a “new tradition” of winemaking, largely inspired by old world methods but recombining them in ways that seem to suit New World conditions.
Some of you may have had the opportunity to taste his 2009 Hudson Vineyard Syrah that we’ve had by-the-glass for the last few months. If not, you’ll not only get to taste that but also 5 other of his extraordinary wines, all paired with a selection of dishes created by Executive Chef, Drew Garneau. See below for a little preview:

Believe me when I say that there is no better way to enjoy a bottle of wine than to enjoy it in the company of the person who made it. It will give you a whole new appreciation for what goes into getting that bottle onto your table.
